HVAC Instructor - SEASONAL (2025-2026)
About The Position
HVAC Seasonal Instructor Licensed HVAC Technician Seasonal work from September 2025 through May 2026 Two days a week following the Keller ISD Odd/Even schedule (M/W or T/Tr). 07:30 a.m. to 11:00am; 2 days per week (Approximately 7 hours per week) Excluding district holidays, testing, and other scheduled dates Assist the KCAL Instructor in classroom setting with teaching technical HVAC skills Supervise HVAC students as they practice hands-on learning experiences Serve as a mentor for students; provide HVAC expertise and instruction to individual students Provide a safe environment for all students Assist in supporting the rules, regulations, and safety of the facility Prevent accidents through the enforcement of policies, regulations, and ordinances governing the conduct of persons Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner Complete an incident report for all accidents and injuries Enforce and adhere to all rules and regulations Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not acceptable to KCAL Instructor immediately Develop and maintain systems for retrieval of information in support of all programs Maintain, file, and secure all physical and computerized reports, records, and other required documents Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive, courteous, and respectful Maintain confidentiality Comply and implement all policies, operating procedures, legal requirements, and verbal and written directives Perform other related duties as assigned
