Requirements

• Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• EPA Universal certification.
• HVAC journeymen certification - Not required but preferred.
• HVAC certification.
• At least three years of experience as an HVAC tech.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven.

Nice To Haves

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC/R courses.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Assist the program director.
• Participate in department training and meetings.
• Attend graduation.
