Requirements

  • 3+ years of HVAC installation experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (EPA Certification a plus)
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical job duties safely
  • Strong experience with heat pumps, air handlers, 120V/240V electrical, and ductwork installation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC systems
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service mindset
  • Valid California Driver’s License pursuant to company policy

Nice To Haves

  • Insulation experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC equipment according to company policies and manufacturer specifications.
  • Install or replace HVAC equipment including ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pumps), and rooftop package units.
  • Design duct systems to deliver optimal comfort and energy efficiency.
  • Complete wiring of both low and high voltage to heating and cooling equipment.
  • Braze and solder copper refrigerant lines for air conditioning units.
  • Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
  • Connect gas lines to heating equipment safely and accurately.
  • Pre-measure jobs to determine correct materials and equipment.
  • Receive, confirm, and load materials and equipment into company vehicle.
  • Support teammates to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Perform equipment readings and interpret results correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by management.
