About The Position
The HVAC Installer/HVAC Technician/Installation Engineer will be responsible for performing HVAC installations in both residential and commercial properties. An ideal HVAC Installer/HVAC Technician/Installation Engineer will be responsible for preparing and inspecting equipment, carrying out system installations, testing performance, troubleshooting operational issues, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role of the HVAC Installer/HVAC Technician/Installation Engineer involves interacting directly with customers, answering questions about system operation, and ensuring a professional service experience from start to finish.
Requirements
- Experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge relevant to HVAC systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational HVAC training preferred
Nice To Haves
- EPA certification or similar qualifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare, inspect, and stage equipment for installation
- Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial environments
- Test system functionality and ensure installations meet performance standards
- Troubleshoot any technical or operational issues during installation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite
- Communicate with customers regarding system use, maintenance, and general questions
- Work collaboratively with installation teams and office staff
Benefits
- $50,000 – $80,000 base + commission
