About The Position

The HVAC Installer position involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. The role requires adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards while ensuring efficient operation of HVAC equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience as HVAC Installer or HVAC Service Technician.
• Experience with residential or commercial customers.
• Certificate of completion of HVAC training program.
• EPA certification.
• Driver's license to travel to various job sites; will use company vehicle.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repairs, and replacement of HVAC equipment following manufacturer's specifications.
• Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.
• Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
• Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Ensure proper connection of gas lines to heating equipment.
• Determine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs.
• Provide necessary support to other team members to complete tasks on time as instructed by the supervisor.
• Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out.
• Carry out readings on machines with a full understanding of the implications of such readings.
• Perform any other duty that may be directed by the supervisor.
