About The Position

Comfort Flow Heating is looking for an experienced HVAC Install/Startup Technician to join our team. Our fast-growing company offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits! Position Summary: Ability to complete installation of refrigerant piping and low voltage wiring installation to prepare equipment for start-up. Responsible for the proper start-up and commissioning of a variety of HVAC mechanical systems to meet manufacturer requirements. Ensure system is running properly before completing job and customer has received training for operating system.

Requirements

Valid driver license and clean driving record, insurable by company insurance
Keep job site and company vehicle clean and organized
Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
Ability to work well independently or as a team
Follow instructions from supervisor and journeyman, and carry out in a timely manner
Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends and staggered shifts when needed
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds consistent with trade practice
Ability to work out of town when necessary
Ability to work outside in a wide range of temperatures
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Must be able to work off ladders & lifts
Come to work ready to work with proper tools and attire
Desire to advance in career through apprenticeship program and on-the-job training

Nice To Haves

3 + years previous HVAC experience
Familiar with the following light commercial systems: Package Units, Split Systems, VRF systems, and VAV systems
Experience with installation of conduit and low voltage wiring in a neat and professional manner
Experience with installation of refrigerant piping, brazing
Ability to read blue prints and wiring schematics
Experience with startup and commissioning of new HVAC installations
