About The Position

The position involves managing the Branch delivery teams, including Controls and Mechanical Installation teams, and assisting management in revenue forecasting, billings, collections, and resource planning. The role requires ensuring compliance with legal requirements and safety standards while developing relationships with contractors, customers, and consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.
  • Minimum of five or more years of progressively more responsible operations management experience in the Building Construction Industry.
  • Five or more years of direct project management experience.
  • High-level competence in written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to travel based on geographical locations of assigned teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS Project and MS Tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to negotiate and deal with conflict resolution issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall execution and performance of assigned Controls and Mechanical Installation delivery teams.
  • Ensure Branch goals and objectives are met, aligned with Senior Installation Manager’s priorities.
  • Establish goals and development plans for all direct reports.
  • Evaluate employee performance and perform salary management.
  • Drive asset management including cost control, billings, collections, and payables.
  • Recruit Project Team Leaders, System Team Leaders, System Technicians, and Leads Systems Specialists.
  • Ensure effective use of estimating and engineering standards.
  • Follow up on customer satisfaction issues and drive resolution.
  • Assist Project Team Leaders and others in reviewing and interpreting contract terms.
  • Schedule installation projects and manage backlog.
  • Coach teams on project risk management and conflict resolution.
  • Promote the securing of change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with the Safety Program and legal requirements.
