About The Position

American Residential Services is the largest provider of residential services in the US, employing more than 7000 professionals across the country. ARS has been serving its customers with HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical solutions for over 45 years since its establishment in 1975. As an AOR / HVAC Installation Mechanic, you would disassemble and remove old systems, then install, start-up and troubleshoot (if needed) new replacement HVAC systems in residential settings.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• Comfortable leading installations.
• Working knowledge of local inspection codes.
• EPA Certification (assistance may be available).
• Proven work ethic with excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to work in attics, crawl spaces, and lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to work long, sporadic hours and/or weekends.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and remove old HVAC systems.
• Install, start-up, and troubleshoot new HVAC systems in residential settings.
• Lead a team with a helper assigned.
• Ensure compliance with local inspection codes.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication.
