The Install Coordinator is a critical role responsible for the efficient coordination and scheduling of HVAC installation projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves close interaction with customers, installation teams, and other departments within the company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordination, scheduling, or project management role, preferably in the HVAC industry or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and installation processes. Proficiency in using scheduling software and other computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to troubleshoot issues and find effective solutions quickly.
  • A customer-focused mindset committed to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate HVAC installation jobs, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding installation schedules, project updates, and any changes.
  • Monitor the progress of installation projects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely completion. Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, including job orders, customer information, and project details. Prepare regular status reports for management.
  • Work closely with the sales, service, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless project execution. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among all parties involved.
  • Ensure all installations meet company standards and customer expectations. Conduct follow-up checks and address any post-installation issues.
  • Assist with managing inventory levels for installation materials and equipment. Coordinate with the warehouse for timely procurement and delivery of supplies.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering excellent service and support throughout the installation process. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints promptly.
