Pearce Services is seeking skilled and motivated entry level technicians to join their team in servicing and repairing commercial generators and HVAC equipment on cell tower and telecom sites. Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license for at least a year with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.
  • Must be able to meet the requirements of a DOT driver including physical, background and driving record.
  • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year generator and/or HVAC service experience (technical school accepted) preferred but not required.
  • Preferred experience with ATS, electrical troubleshooting, and critical power systems.
  • EPA Universal or Type II Certification preferred: EGSA a plus.
  • Knowledge of FCC, FAA, EPA, OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair generators, and HVAC systems at telecom and cell tower sites.
  • Maintain commercial package cooling systems supporting telecom equipment shelters.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, load-bank testing, and performance checks.
  • Perform basic generator repairs, oil changes, lubrication, and fuel system maintenance.
  • Respond to 24/7 emergency callouts and complete accurate service reports.
