Pearce Services is seeking skilled and motivated entry-level technicians to service and repair commercial generators and HVAC equipment on cell tower and telecom sites. Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license for at least a year with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Comply with OSHA Standards
  • Lift 50+ lbs.; climb, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Extensive travel to telecom sites; independent field work
  • Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
  • Must be able to meet the requirements of a DOT driver including physical, background and driving record
  • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year generator and/or HVAC service experience (technical school accepted)
  • Experience with ATS, electrical troubleshooting, and critical power systems
  • EPA Universal or Type II Certification
  • EGSA certification
  • Knowledge of FCC, FAA, EPA, OSHA standards

Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain, and repair generators, and HVAC systems at telecom and cell tower sites
  • Maintain commercial package cooling systems supporting telecom equipment shelters
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, load-bank testing, and performance checks
  • Perform basic generator repairs, oil changes, lubrication, and fuel system maintenance
  • Respond to 24/7 emergency callouts and complete accurate service reports
