About The Position

As a HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for our customers in a defined market, which includes a diverse commercial base such as Healthcare, Process Manufacturing Facilities, Education Institutions, and Office Complexes. Your role will involve commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems in a commercial environment. You will leverage your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to perform these tasks effectively. In this position, you will coordinate with the team leader or project manager and the customer to fully understand the requirements for all on-site installations and repairs. This includes forecasting potential issues, gathering necessary materials, and synchronizing on-site work. You will represent Trane Technologies as the direct customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at the customer's location. Utilizing cutting-edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, you will follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units. Your dedication to customer service will be demonstrated through your flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays. Safety is paramount, and you will enforce the highest standards while maintaining security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by accurately recording their use, wear, and condition.
