About The Position

The HVAC-Facilities Assistant at Rio Grande is responsible for maintaining and repairing the facilities and HVAC systems within a 186,000 square foot building. This role involves inspecting equipment, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with plumbing and remodeling tasks. The assistant will work collaboratively with team members to ensure the building is in proper repair and will manage small projects while contributing to larger ones.

Requirements

• 3 years previous experience with general maintenance or related fields
• 5 years of HVAC experience
• Familiarity with handheld tools and equipment
• Comfortable working to scheduled timelines
• Detail-oriented
• Basic computer skills
• Current EPA License

Responsibilities

• Perform remodeling tasks as needed
• Keep the building in proper repair
• Coordinate maintenance activities on HVAC units
• Manage small projects and collaborate on larger projects
• Assist with light plumbing tasks
• Conduct light painting tasks
