About The Position

The HVAC Estimator is responsible for sizing, estimating, and quoting all HVAC projects, ensuring that customer requirements are met while collaborating with the sales team and project managers. This role involves estimating project timelines, costs of materials and labor, and maintaining organized records of all estimates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC estimating.
• Experience with a variety of project types, including commercial and industrial projects.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates and review project plans and specifications.
• Strong research skills for products and materials.
• Effective communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Understanding of energy codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Size, estimate, and quote HVAC projects.
• Understand customer requirements and collaborate with the sales team and project managers.
• Estimate time and cost of materials and labor for projects.
• Prepare cost estimates and review project plans and specifications.
• Research products and materials for HVAC projects.
• Evaluate bids and prepare proposals for projects of varying complexity.
• Stay updated on current industry trends and energy codes that may affect projects.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to ensure project delivery.
• Maintain organized records of all completed estimates.
