About The Position

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Estimating Project Manager to lead both the estimating and project management functions for HVAC construction projects. This dual-role position is responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates and ensuring a seamless transition into project execution. The ideal candidate combines strong technical HVAC knowledge with leadership and organizational skills to successfully manage projects from preconstruction through completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in HVAC estimating and/or project management.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., FastPIPE, Trimble, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• License Required: Yes

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for HVAC construction projects.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Develop bid strategies and identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from award through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Track project progress and proactively address issues impacting cost or schedule.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies.
• Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Support smooth handoff between estimating and operations teams.
