Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. 6 or more years of experience designing and constructing HVAC systems.
Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards.
Experience with performing airflow calculations for Mechanical/HVAC systems and equipment on power plants, refineries, or chemical process facilities.
Experience with HVAC equipment selection.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college with 6 or more years of related experience.
Experience working with vendors on the procurement of equipment.
Experience in CGD and/or Environmental Equipment Qualification.
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering examination.
Experience with Trane TRACE™ 700 and VariTrane™ Duct Designer software.
Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Prior experience working with Government agencies, preferably DOE or DOD.
