About The Position

Job Summary: The End of Line Test Rack Production Leader is responsible supporting testing-related activities on end of line production test racks. This role allocates resources, including team members, equipment, and materials, to support the production plan and ensures testing operations meet the highest standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Completes AAON’s Production Leader Program. Allocate resources—including team members, equipment, and materials—to efficiently implement the production and testing plan. Set clear performance expectations, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members involved in testing and quality control. Coordinate, direct, and support the activities of employees engaged in testing production equipment, ensuring adherence to quality protocols at all times. Monitor and enforce quality control processes, ensuring all products meet or exceed established standards. Investigate and address production and quality-related issues as they arise, implementing corrective and preventive actions when necessary. Lead safety training sessions, conduct safety audits, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous safety improvements. Identify and implement best practices for process optimization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency. Drive and oversee process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality. Maintain accurate documentation of test results, safety incidents, and process changes, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Communicate effectively with other departments, such as Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality, and keep management informed of production status, challenges, and opportunities. Generate regular performance reports—including productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics—for review by management. Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and an HVAC Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, quality control and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and production management software and systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal and A2L refrigerant certification.
  • Ability to communicate in written and spoken English language.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time during shift.
  • Required to wear proper personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to varying and extreme temperatures, loud noises, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects and heavy forklift traffic.
  • This position is designated as a safety-sensitive job and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing.

Nice To Haves

  • It is preferred that an individual in this position have attained a minimum of 3 – 5 years industry experience on applied products or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
