About The Position
This role is responsible for performing duct leakage and air balancing testing of air conditioning systems. This employee should be safety -focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in residential or commercial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform duct leakage and air balancing operations using specialized testing equipment
- Prepare and protect work areas before testing
- Inspect and identify problems and correct them during testing to meet municipal and energy star codes
- Be able to read manual J load calculations and adjust air flow to meet municipal and energy star codes
- Operate and maintain testing equipment
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and job -site protocols
- Work efficiently individually or part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly dispose of waste materials
- Travel to job sites in a company vehicle
