About The Position
HVAC Design Engineer – Orange County, CA We are a large growing mechanical contractor in Orange County that works on many of California’s biggest and best mechanical projects. This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Stable work-history.
- Local to Orange County.
- 5+years of HVAC and Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE License Required.
- Strong knowledge in: AutoCAD, Microsoft office, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace 700, Revit, BlueBeam, and Navisworks.
Responsibilities
- Review all contract project design and engineering design and calculations accuracy.
- Working closely with engineer, architects, and other disciplines.
- Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
- Work closely with general contractors and owners as well as other sub-contractors and mep-design engineers.
- Review project specs and identify value engineering opportunities to present to our clients.
