About The Position

HTS Engineering Ltd. is the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representative in North America, operating with 20 locations across the US and Canada. The company is committed to ensuring the success of all parties involved in HVAC projects, including employees, suppliers, customers, and end users. This role involves promoting and selling HVAC products and solutions to engineers, contractors, and end users within an assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the commercial HVAC or mechanical industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and building applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell HVAC products and solutions to engineers, contractors, and end users within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Identify project opportunities early in the design phase and influence equipment selection through value engineering and technical expertise.
  • Provide accurate project quotations and proposals in coordination with inside sales and estimating teams.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure technical alignment and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of product portfolio, capabilities, and market differentiators.
  • Track project opportunities and customer interactions in CRM and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and contribute to regional growth strategies.
  • Attend industry events, manufacturer training, and networking functions to strengthen relationships and market presence.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
