You will gain hands-on experience working with building automation technologies and performing technical tasks supporting real-world customer solutions. Requirements

  • High school diploma and currently enrolled in a community college
  • Understanding of HVAC systems, sequence of operations, and applications
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical or electro-mechanical fields
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, including electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and listening skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or coursework in HVAC, electrical systems, or controls technology
  • Interest in building automation, controls, or related fields
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Assist with HVAC control system programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control components
  • Load system-level controller software and verify system functionality
  • Perform commissioning tasks and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators)
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to support successful project execution
