About The Position

Engineered Air is looking for a HVAC Service Technician to join the team within a fast-paced environment. We are a manufacturer of custom HVAC equipment with offices across North America. The training program is located in De Soto, Kansas. Depending on experience and ability of the candidate, training could be up to two years in length, depending on experience. This program allows you to rotate throughout our company in a variety of manufacturing and design modules and gives you a broad knowledge of our business. Requirements

• HVAC Engineering Technology Degree/Diploma
• Currently attending a mechanical or electrical degree/diploma program.
• One to five years of related commercial HVAC service experience, including HVAC control systems.
• A suitable driving record to operate a company vehicle.
• The ability to travel to various locations in the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• To provide technical support on indoor/outdoor HVAC equipment to Contractors in the field and over the phone, as well as communicate with internal and external contacts.
• The Technologist will provide support when and where the customer requires it, to be completed in a timely manner and communicate in a professional attitude while keeping the company's interests in mind at all times.
• Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines is essential.
• The successful candidate will work independently.
