As a CBRE HVAC Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of four (4) years of related experience (building/engineering operations).
  • HVAC, Refrigeration, and Air conditioning systems experience.
  • Commercial/Industrial experience preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills/Microsoft Office.
  • EPA Universal required.
  • Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
  • CFC Certification.
  • Medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.
  • 15 Days of PTO in the first year of employment.
  • 20 days of PTO from Year 1 - 4 of employment.
