About The Position

The HVAC BIM/CAD Detailer will utilize Computer Aided Design and various software to prepare drawings and detailed plans for mechanical and plumbing systems. The role involves assisting the CAD/BIM Department with CAD support, 3D solid modeling, project set-up, department standards, drawing templates, and fabrication specific processes. The detailer will collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines in a virtual construction model and support workflow throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical, piping systems, HVAC, electrical, and equipment in large industrial and government process facilities.
• Proficient in Revit, Fabrication MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
• 2 Years experience Minimum in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Previous 3-5+ Years Experience in Craft specific fabrication and installation as Installer, Fabricator, Journeyman.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CAD/BIM Department with general CAD support, 3D modeling, Installation and Fabrication Drawings.
• Support workflow throughout the BIM lifecycle.
