HVAC - Apprentice
About The Position
Overview Looking to TRADE up to a better opportunity? Southern Air of Shreveport is looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing and dedicated HVAC Service team What you will do: Work closely with the Installation department and any others necessary to provide timely and accurate installation in accordance with company standards and procedures. Provide excellent customer service Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems For each installation job, request necessary parts & equipment needed in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete it Document work performed in accordance with company procedure Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager
Requirements
- Basic HVAC knowledge
- Must be EPA 608 Universal certified
- Must pass motor vehicle, background check and drug screen
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
- Physical dexterity
