About The Position

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available. The Maintenance Technician responsibilities will include timely completion of work orders and special projects, completion of plumbing and electrical service requests, and completion of apartment turns, including plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair/replacement. The technician will service residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner, diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of electrical, and respond to all service requests on-call emergencies as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager, which must be completed in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, the technician will assist in maintaining the exterior of the property daily to provide clean and acceptable curb appeal at all times, perform housekeeping duties as required, and snow removal during winter months when needed. They will also perform property maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable.

Requirements

• Experience in the hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
• Availability for on-call purposes and flexibility to work weekends when necessary
