Industrial Cooling Applied Chiller Service (ICACS) is a Large Tonnage Chiller Service provider in the NYC and Metro Market. Headquartered on western Long Island, (ICACS) provides chiller service, support, maintenance services and contracts, repair, and solutions for Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Institutional, Power Plant and Municipal Sectors. Operating in business for over 30 years and privately held, we remain committed to our clients, offering innovative contemporary solutions with care and consideration to safety, reliability and performance demands in a critically evolving and demanding market. ICACS is always looking to develop our total market exposure in physical plants, machinery, engineering and, or requirements of today’s plant and building owners. To help achieve these goals, ICACS is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop, establish and increase sales in Mechanical, Steam, Controls Systems and Heavy Refrigeration Service Sector, including Commercial Office, Healthcare, Municipal, Education and Manufacturing. We are currently seeking an HVAC and Chiller Service Lead Sales Representative. The HVAC and Chiller Service Lead Sales Representative is critical to the overall growth and profitability of the HVAC and Chiller Service business. The candidate chosen will be responsible for initiating, establishing and building profitable service relationships between new customers and ICACS.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 year progressive field sales experience (Experience in HVAC, Energy, Mechanical, and, or PLC Automation Systems preferred but not necessary).
  • Must possess high energy, self-motivation and excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as demonstrate a commitment to integrity and hard work.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Will be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and create new opportunities through all means of lead generation
  • Develop customer relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Build partnering relationships with the owner and/or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process
  • Assist Facility Management to achieve their business goals by meeting their operational needs and requirements through the most efficient and cost-effective recommendations and solutions including energy products.
  • Manage ongoing opportunities particularly focusing on selling our products and services
  • Work with management closely with good communication skills to keep them apprised of all progress and assist with development
  • Support Project Managers with project coordination including permitting, inspections, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Assist with preparation and organization of project materials such as submittals, closeout documents, and drawings.
  • Support contract administration tasks including contract review and requesting Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
