HVAC Adjunct Instructor/Lab Assistant
About The Position
Fortis College in Cenerville is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC/R Technician to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
- Certifications: HVAC/R EPA Universal
- At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- NATE Certification
- HVAC Journeyman
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience
