About The Position

The Total Store Sanitation Representative at H-E-B is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the store environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Company Orientation and in-store orientation.
• Basic safety and food handling certifications upon hire.
• Knowledge of OSHA Guidelines.
• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
• Customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store, including floors, windows, break rooms, and restrooms.
• Ensure fulfillment of department hand wash sinks with necessary supplies.
• Clean and pick up trash and debris from the store's exterior and surrounding areas.
• Organize and maintain stock in the maintenance room according to H-E-B chemical program.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the store and each department.
• Follow SOPs to achieve food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate maintenance needs and solutions to Store Leaders.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide customer service as needed.
