About The Position

The Hunting Sales Outfitter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support for hunting and archery merchandise, excluding firearms. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions, and maintaining the retail environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong customer service skills and sales experience in hunting/archery merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GCA (Gun Control Act) compliance.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter sales and customer service for hunting/archery merchandise.
• Greet and acknowledge all customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs.
• Make product recommendations based on customer analysis.
• Promote programs such as CLUB membership and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers effectively.
• Organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store for sales at the gun counter (non-firearms).
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Stay knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal merchandise moves on the sales floor.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
