About The Position

The Hunting Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the hunting department of Sportsman's Warehouse. This role involves greeting customers, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring compliance with ATF standards for firearm transactions. The associate will assist in merchandise processing and replenishment while maintaining a clean and organized department.

Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to work closely with customers and co-workers is required.
• A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is recommended.
• Sales training provided by Sportsman's Warehouse is required.

Responsibilities

• Approach each customer using the 5 non-negotiable Friedman Sales Training Steps.
• Keep the department clean, faced, and straight at all times.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of form 4473 and ensure accuracy when completing the employee portion.
• Review and ensure accuracy on the customer portion of form 4473.
• Ensure security of the hunting department, including the gun counter and firearm rooms.
• Ensure all ATF standards are met for all firearm transactions.
• Communicate customer requests to management.
• Perform other tasks as necessary and assigned by management, which may include assisting in other departments.
