Join the Pennsylvania Game Commission as a Hunter Access Program Technician where you will play a vital role in connecting hunters with private landowners to expand public hunting opportunities. This position gives you the opportunity to share your passion of the outdoors with staff and the general public through administration and implementation of the Hunter Access Program in our Southwest Region of Pennsylvania. In this unique position with the Game Commission's Southwest Region, you will support the administration of the Hunter Access Program, collaborate with agency staff, engage with landowners across the region, and contribute to key initiatives like the Certified Hunter Program-all while supporting Pennsylvania's rich hunting heritage and conservation mission. Work involves conducting site visits with landowners for executing agreements, delivering program signage, and other duties which require travel in and around your assigned region, as well as using Geographic Information System (GIS) software to view or edit maps or special data, and using computers and mobile devices for data entry, reporting, and communication tasks.
