About The Position

GXM is seeking a senior-level Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineer to lead advanced Human Systems Integration engineering and systems engineering functions in support of Naval and Department of War programs. The selected candidate will integrate human systems considerations across all stages of research, design, development, test, and operations to ensure human performance, usability, and mission effectiveness are fully embedded in system solutions. The candidate will lead and provide comprehensive technical and programmatic support across the full system life cycle, including concept development, requirements analysis, design reviews, test and evaluation, and operational assessments. Responsibilities include leading HSI analyses and trade studies, guiding concept development and performance assessment tools, participating in and advising working groups and advisory panels, and assessing emerging technologies relevant to Human Systems Integration. The candidate will also provide organizational and technical management support as required to meet program objectives. This position will be based out of Fredericksburg, VA with occasional travel to Dahlgren, VA. About GXM GXM is a team of creative professionals focused on solving problems for end users. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience supporting government research and development, test and evaluation, and systems acquisition programs
  • Seven (7) or more years of relevant Human Systems Integration engineering experience in at least three (3) of the following areas: - Comparative multi-domain HSI engineering analysis, impact assessments, and trade-off studies of complex systems - HSI design, installation, integration, and test support in laboratory or operational environments - Design documentation and specification development - HSI test planning, procedures development, execution, analysis, and reporting - HSI-related engineering requirements, performance analysis, and risk analysis - Application of engineering principles to analyze, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems - Systems integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, acquisition, training, or resource management - Conducting task analyses such as Mission Task Analysis, Top-Down Functional Analysis, or Critical Task Analysis - Understanding Naval operations from unit level through operational staff and headquarters planning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience serving in a technical leadership role supporting Naval or Department of War programs
  • Prior military service or experience supporting Department of War or military operations
