Under limited supervision and with considerable independence, the Human Subject Research Specialist II (HSRS II) will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Director, and research team to implement large community-based pediatric asthma interventions in the city of Rochester, while also providing research data support for several ongoing NIH-funded pediatric asthma studies. The HSRS II is a member of a cross-functional team where teamwork, collaboration, challenges and continuous learning are the standard. The HSRS II will gather information, analyze and interpret data, and report findings. The HSRS II will perform daily data review/audit, and statistical analysis of the research data, disseminate information and assist with formulating goals, protocols and information gathering methods. The position requires knowledge of organization’s policies, procedures, and research operations. The position requires attention to detail, awareness of time-sensitive work, and a high level of organizational and communication skills. The HSRS II will follow University Research Guidelines for Human Subjects Research and will demonstrate ICARE values in each of the major responsibilities.
