About The Position
At the CSB we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the community we serve. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about supporting others and has the skills to navigate the complexities of public assistance programs. As a key member of our team, you will: conduct interviews by engaging with individuals both in-person and over the phone to identify eligibility for benefit programs and facilitate benefits enrollments and renewals by assisting CSB individuals throughout the application process. Provide follow-up support, working closely with individuals, families, and service providers to ensure benefit determinations are made in a timely manner. Collaborate effectively, maintaining close communication with individuals and other service providers to deliver comprehensive support. The successful candidate will have the ability to read, comprehend, apply, and explain standard business material and complex public assistance policies and procedures. Must have proficient skills with Microsoft products and the ability to navigate other applications. Be able to access and evaluate data to ensure that established deadlines are met and prioritize multiple and varied tasks. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflicts and think independently.
