About The Position
Handles and manages all aspects of the Public Guardianship Program. Supervises Guardianship Case Manager. Serves as public guardian for wards of the state age 65 years and over, rotating on-call responsibilities with the Guardianship Case Manager. Provides information and consultation to the public regarding guardianship, alternatives to guardianship, advanced directives, end of life matters and elder abuse prevention. Responsible for required reporting to the Circuit Court and the Maryland Department of Aging (MDoA).
