About The Position

This is a highly responsible position that performs a wide variety of duties under the limited supervision of thesupervisor. Responsible for implementing the regional Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, basedout of the Florida Department of Health in Leon County. Performs daily tasks to maintain the program and ensure thatit meets all program deliverables and requirements set by the State Program Office. Daily tasks include: Client Intake Client Eligibility Determination Client Scheduling Review and Submit claims for payment. Submit completed Patient Reporting Forms to the state program office. Maintain program tracking systems. Coordinate with providers when necessary to ensure they have all necessary updated program paperwork. Client coordination to ensure enrolled clients receive all necessary and allowable screening and diagnosticservices. Assist clients in applying for Special Medicaid if the client has been diagnosed and determined eligible. Collect and analyze data to ensure program outcomes. Submit data monthly to state office in the form of a Monthly Data Report and Pending Report. Attends all required regional program planning calls, conferences, and training. Work with the business office to ensure contracted providers are meeting the requirements of their contract, to include assisting contracted providers in coordinating and facilitating outreach events. Coordinate and conduct an in-person education training once a year for all providers and their staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • This position requires experience working in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, high level communication andinterpersonal skills, ability to train and motivate, experience in client coordination and program management.
  • Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
  • Knowledge of privacy laws to protect confidentiality, includingHealth Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and applicable state and local privacy laws.
