About The Position

Requirements

• At least 18 years old, or age 16-17 with parental consent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Active, enrolled student

• Candidates currently working toward a bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, public health, public administration, or public policy or closely related field

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and evaluation of human services programs
• Create collaborations between various human services systems for improving community outcomes
• Oversee local governmental funding of human services programs
• Manage processes for human services funding
• Manage citizen advisory boards
• Collaborate with department colleagues to influence real changes
• Present to the County Administrator and other County Leadership staff at the end of the internship program
• Participate in all organized intern events and trainings
