About The Position

The Human Services Program Representative 1 position at the Southeast Region Office of Mental Health involves ensuring compliance of licensed mental health programs with Pennsylvania state law. The role is crucial in protecting the well-being of vulnerable citizens by overseeing mental health programs, monitoring contract provisions, and providing relevant information regarding compliance. The representative will also address discrepancies and consumer issues promptly to mitigate adverse effects on the community and department.

Requirements

  • Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program.
  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee licensed mental health programs to ensure compliance with state law.
  • Monitor contract provisions of the behavioral health managed care program.
  • Provide accurate information regarding contract compliance to the department and community.
  • Detect and resolve discrepancies in reporting mechanisms and service provisions.
  • Address significant consumer issues in a timely manner.
