About The Position
Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Intensive Residential Treatment Center in Provo, Utah. This onsite role offers a competitive pay range of $16.49–$20.90/hour and gives you the opportunity to support individuals with high behavioral health needs. You'll assist with daily routines, promote skill development, and help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. In this role, you'll play a meaningful part in encouraging positive behavioral change while providing compassionate, consistent support to residents. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
- Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
Nice To Haves
- Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
- Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
- Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
- Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately
- Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and other team members
- Model positive behavior and healthy coping strategies
