About The Position
As a Human Resources Trainer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our team members. Collaborating closely with the park leadership team and the training manager, you will support the planning and execution of various training initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality training and development programs for all levels of staff, from Vice Presidents to hourly Ambassadors. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a range of training programs tailored for Ambassadors across all divisions, ensuring that each new or rehired Ambassador experiences a seamless transition from orientation to department-specific training and on-the-job training. In this role, you will also support department leadership by identifying training needs based on feedback from various sources, changes to processes, and other relevant factors. You will be responsible for organizing training manuals, materials, multimedia visual aids, and other educational resources, ensuring they are up-to-date with company policies. Your ability to communicate effectively and present information clearly will be essential as you engage with team members and facilitate their learning experiences. The position requires a proactive approach to training and development, with a focus on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. You will need to be adaptable, as the role may involve working varying shifts and hours based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our training programs and the overall performance of our team.
