About The Position

The King Law Human Resources (Talent Acquisition) Internship Program is designed to provide college students pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields with hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition within a professional legal environment. Interns will gain practical experience supporting the firm’s hiring, onboarding, and talent development initiatives under the guidance of the Chief Talent Manager. The program is unpaid and for academic credit, lasting 12 weeks with 1 week for time off, starting on January 20, 2026, and ending on April 10, 2026, with a commitment of 10 hours per week in a hybrid work location.

Requirements

  • College students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Recommendation from a faculty advisor or internship coordinator.
  • Ability to receive school credit required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with job postings on internal and external platforms, including Trakstar Hire, college career boards, and professional networks.
  • Support outreach to colleges and universities for internship and hiring opportunities.
  • Communicate with candidates and track application progress in the applicant tracking system.
  • Participate in the onboarding process by assisting with new hire documentation.
  • Assist in collecting, tracking, and organizing candidate and employee data for reporting purposes.
  • Support HR communications, including job descriptions, internal announcements, and recruitment updates.
