About the position

The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining and maximizing the effective use of the HCM system and other HR applications. Evaluates system functionality, identifies gaps, and makes recommendations for enhanced solutions. This role assesses, develops, and configures the HCM system, and documents efficient HR processes ensuring greater ROI on HR systems. Produces custom reports, metrics, and dashboards. Creates meaningful HR metrics and reporting that provide insights into strategic issues related to workforce planning and management. Monitors and ensures data integrity using audit tools and alerts. This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site requirements as needed. Our corporate office is based in Orange, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and maximize the effective use of the HCM system and other HR applications.
  • Evaluate system functionality and identify gaps.
  • Make recommendations for enhanced solutions.
  • Assess, develop, and configure the HCM system.
  • Document efficient HR processes to ensure greater ROI on HR systems.
  • Produce custom reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Create meaningful HR metrics and reporting for workforce planning and management.
  • Monitor and ensure data integrity using audit tools and alerts.

Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years of HR experience with three (3) years of experience supporting HCM systems.
  • Bachelor's degree; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Functional knowledge of HCM systems integrations, business process analysis and process improvement, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Experience developing and generating reports, analytics, and dashboards.
  • Ability to develop and frame analytical findings clearly and meaningfully.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Able to think critically, work independently, and problem-solve.

Nice-to-haves

  • Workday Recruitment experience highly preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience supporting Workday HCM system; previous experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Info Systems, IT, IS, or Human Resources.
  • Other Workday Pro certification (reporting, payroll, security, etc.).
  • Ability to create custom reports, dashboards, datasets, tools and processes needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to code custom macros in Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of Workday; Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Advanced Comp, Performance Management, Learning, Workday integrations, Workday Studio, BIRT, and XLST transformations.
