About The Position
The Human Resources System Analyst for the Learning Management System (LMS) at UAB Medicine plays a crucial role in ensuring data integrity across various HR systems. This position is responsible for maintaining the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and usability of data within these systems. The analyst will work closely with various databases and modules that comprise UAB Medicine's HR operations, ensuring that data integrity is upheld through proactive measures such as audits and queries. The role also involves serving as a liaison between users, management, and service providers to address system issues and projects, including system design, maintenance, modifications, and optimization. In addition to these responsibilities, the HR Systems Analyst will serve as the primary analyst for the Applicant Tracking System(s), overseeing setup, maintenance, configuration, reporting, and daily operations. Key duties include performing system analyst functions, collaborating with other analysts and stakeholders to customize systems, providing end-user support and training, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and HR standards. The analyst will also participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, assess process improvements, and support the functional operations of HR by attending meetings and completing mandatory training. The position requires a commitment to personal continuing education and professional growth, with opportunities to pursue learning that enhances the effectiveness of the role. The HR Systems Analyst will also support the LMS by addressing operational issues and collaborating with various departments to ensure system functionality.
