About The Position

ASE is looking for a Human Resources Staffing and Classification Program Analyst to work in Virginia Beach, VA. The successful candidate will provide on-site support at NSWC Dahlgren - Dam Neck Activity (DNA), located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, for day-to-day operation of the Corporate Operations Department, Human Resources, Staffing/Classification in the area of Staffing, Classification and Recruitment efforts. Requirements

  • Must hold an active DoD-issued Interim-Secret (or higher) security clearance.
  • Associate degree in Human Resources or related business degree, OR three (3) plus years of work-related experience
  • HR recruitment, training implementation and management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams)
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Customer-focused

Nice To Haves

  • Federal recruitment and hiring process experience.
  • Working knowledge of Navy ERP
  • DCPDS familiarity

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your experience and expertise in the federal hiring and on-boarding process providing support for the NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity (DNA) HR office in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
  • Provide support in the staffing and hiring of new employees to include tracking hiring action status updates, utilizing SharePoint or other computer-based tools to manage hiring status.
  • Utilize the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) to review and analyze employee's employment records and history and to process personnel actions for new hires and current employees.
  • Utilize Onboarding Manager (OM) to manage offers of employment, pre-employment tasking and other onboarding requirements.
  • Provide knowledgeable support responding to employee's Human Resources related inquiries on topics such as their position, benefits, leave, pay, etc.
  • Review and analyzes SF-50s for accuracy and correctness after processing and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Provide HR support for New Employee Orientation (NEO) in welcoming new hires, reviewing onboarding documents and presenting HR materials during NEO.
