About The Position

The position involves assessing the current state of delivery and execution of all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and procedures in relation to various civilian human resources functional areas. The role requires identifying areas within civilian human resources that require further study or improvement, writing executive HR summaries and portions of reports for leadership to utilize in program decisions, and analyzing programmatic information to provide a comprehensive assessment of program success and deficiencies. Additionally, the position entails providing feedback on all civilian HR programs based on specific case findings and furnishing authoritative advice and counsel on matters pertinent to civilian HR program areas.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • You may be expected to travel up to 25% for this position.
  • Specialized experience of one year which includes utilizing knowledge of various civilian human resources functional areas such as staffing/recruitment, position management/classification, labor relations/management and/or employee relations to administer the evaluation program.
  • Experience applying analytical/evaluative techniques to determine compliance with existing civilian HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience analyzing civilian HR data to advise and explain personnel processes and procedures.
  • Experience writing summaries/reports to identify systemic issues based on the results of civilian HR evaluations.
