About The Position

Requirements

• One year of specialized experience in Federal civilian human resource principles, concepts, and techniques.
• Experience delivering training briefings to the workforce.
• Ability to provide advisory services on complex staffing, classification, and performance management issues.
• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in HR or Business Admin, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP).
• Familiarity with automated personnel programs.

Responsibilities

• Advise managers in developing requests for approval of civilian hiring actions, adverse or disciplinary matters, or workforce education and development.
• Formulate and provide guidance and assistance to managers and employees on recruitment strategies.
• Utilize and provide advice on the use of HRO automated personnel programs such as Fully Automated System for Classification, Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, and the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP).
• Administer the timekeeping program for the command.
