About The Position
The Human Resources Specialist ensures efficient operation of the Human Resources Department and compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. This position is responsible for administering human resources benefits, preparing and distributing benefit communication, managing wellness initiatives, mediating between benefits providers and employees, conducting new employee orientation, and overseeing the development of a human resource strategic plan. The role also involves collaboration with colleges/universities for recruitment, conducting hiring events, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
