About The Position

Join our team of highly-skilled HR Specialist at the Suburban Hospitals where your partnership can make an impact in the lives of children in Indiana. We are looking for an experience HR business Partner with experience working in a highly matrixed environment, strong work ethic, and positive team player. Assists and provides support to Human Resources consultants and team members with HR administrative processes as assigned. Manages reports, spreadsheets, and other special projects that may require working with complex and high volume data. Maintains confidentiality of employee data and sensitive Human Resources issues. Works closely with the HR team to consistently deliver high quality customer service to internal and external customers, and provide professional representation of the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience preferred.
  • One to three years of job related experience in a confidential environment preferred.
  • Previous Human Resource experience preferred.
  • Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulations and laws (e.g. FLSA; COBRA; ADA; FMLA; etc.).
  • Basic proficiency in MS office required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in employee relations minimum 1+ years.
  • Experience with conflict negotiations/crucial conversations and managing conflict.
  • Experience navigating matrixed environments.
  • Prefer someone who comes from an environment of 3,000+ employees.
  • Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated employee engagement success with metric improvement.
  • Experience in a business partner model.
  • Leadership development training and knowledge.
  • Compensation/learning and development - deep generalist experience.
  • Experience presenting education and training.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to change.
  • Team player with strong work ethic and motivation to the mission.
