About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to support our HR Manager in overseeing two plants. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development. The successful candidate will be the go-to person when the HR Manager is not onsite, ensuring that any arising issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience within HR.
• Investigative experience with employees and conflict resolution.
• Leadership experience within HR.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of misconduct.
• Collaborate with management and legal counsel to ensure investigations are conducted in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Document findings and prepare comprehensive investigation reports.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Support the HR team with generalist duties, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and training.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Organize and spearhead employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with W2s, I9s, and answering employee questions about pay, benefits, checks, hours, etc.
